Sylvan, meaning from the woods is a fitting name for this botanical themed series. This furniture is constructed of Appalachian Black Walnut and Black Cherry. All joinery used is mortise and tenon with floating panels. The panels are of a botanical theme, using trees, vines and leaves as subject matter. They are scroll sawn and then carved slightly for veins and character. They are finished out using Lacquer.
